Two nights of cookie dough ice cream.

CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT- (officially)
On Wednesday Lincoln found out he passed his financial exam! Whaaaawhooo! We celebrated by going to our favorite (Lincoln's favorite) restaurant, La Castia! Then I surprised him with cookie dough glorious ice cream.

NO MORE ECON. EVER AGAIN.

Tonight I finished my crap Econ 381 final. Lincoln suffered through Enchanted again with me and we ate more ice cream. I am going to milk this school-free weekend. I plan on sleeping a lot and hopefully eating more ice cream.

Certified Public Accountant.

We love accounting. Debit = life.

Lincoln takes his last CPA exam tomorrow. Oh the joy. I am so excited to have him back! He has been studying like a mad man. Proof? It's 8:48 pm on Friday and he's still studying. He has passed the past three exams (woot woot) and now we're down to the last. When I say we, I mean him because while he's been studying his guts out I've been watching the Lost season finale. btw WOW what the crap is going to happen?!?!. Anyway, we are excited to be done with the tests. I have convinced him to take a few weeks off studying before jumping into the next licensing test (CFP). Also, Adam (Lincoln's brother) and Lindsay had their twins last night! Actually Lindsay had them, but nonetheless we have two new nephews! They are very cute and make me ache. Also, I love Lincoln. The end.

Epidemic

Many of my friends have left me on missions. First there was Athens, then there was Jaimie and now Charli has left. I am so excited for them, but I miss them. I think it is easier to be the one leaving than the one being left. I love my friends and I know they won't read this, but I have so much respect for girls that serve missions! Sisters are awesome and I know that I am a small person to feel sad when they are going to bless so many others lives. I just thought writing my sadness would make me feel better. The end.

Hiking the Y.

Last night we decided to hike the Y. Earlier we had Costa Vida burritos which were heavenly, but did not sit well on the hike. Most of the time I was complaining which Lincoln interpreted as me not having fun. I actually really enjoyed getting outside, it was a beautiful night. The only down side for me is going DOWN the mountain. I have this weird fear of falling when I walk (whether it be down a mountain or on a slick icy side walk). Lincoln was patient and walked slowly down the whole way. Also, we watched the Office and did laundry. I love the end of the week.

Oh happy day.

Kelli Saunders was our photographer and she did an incredible job. Click here to see more of her work. We've had these pictures for a while, but I thought I'd post some of my favorite shots. We had a lot of fun dancing even though Lincoln said that he only does a few disco moves.
Our three little sisters.
We had our reception in the park behind my house.
The end.

Namaste

I had my first yoga class yesterday! I am taking the class two nights a week with my sister-in-law. I took yoga in high school and loved it. Freshman year with the help of my frusin (best friend/cousin) I continued the yoga tradition. She would turn on some Enya and then she would read through an online routine.

I'm hoping the class will help me be less stressed and help me build some core strength. Last night was exactly what I needed! We focused on breathing and I found the calming power of just inhaling and exhaling. We did a few poses and man I can feel it today!

So when you get stressed say Namaste and do the downward facing dog.

Good morning sunshine!

We are the Flemings aka Flem. As our introduction the following morning routine is what is meant by Waking up with Flem.

The alarm sounds (usually at 5:30 AM), Lincoln hits th
e snooze a few times then tells me its time to get up. I moan, cover my eyes and tell him I'm sick (for some reason I am sick every morning). Lincoln then goes on to throw out a joke, try to tickle me, or some other "welcome the sunshine" jest. After all attempts to get me happy and out of bed, Lincoln resorts to just getting me out of bed. He usually tosses the covers off of me grabs my legs and gently pulls me off the bed.

Lincoln is for the most part a happy guy. As Dillon said when he met him "He's always smiling." Lincoln is stable, kind and a tease. I am, as is demonstrated by my morning routine pessimistic, dramatic and all over the place.

We hope waking up with Flem gives you a bit of both of us!
